Our Puppies
My first experience with Maltese came when I was a college student on summer break hired to help my neighbor's Maltese dam take care of her first litter or puppies. It took me 20 years before I would again raise a litter of Maltese. For most of those years, I never imagined myself making the choice to breed a litter. I knew such a daunting task was best left to the experts. But when I started to show in conformation, I began to understand more about the role of the breeder in the preservation of our beloved breed, and I began to consider that I might be able to gain that expertise and commit myself to being a guardian of the health, temperament and type of the breed for generations to come.
Producing my first litter of Maltese has been one of the most joyous experiences of my life. They are everything I dreamed they would be in health, temperament and Maltese type.
I look forward to another generation of CloudClan puppies; however, at this time we have no available puppies, nor any litters planned for the next several months.
